our story

Amon is named after Franz Amon. Franz was the first violinist of Johann Strauss senior's orchestra and he secretly taught music to Johann Strauss junior, against his father's will. We find this story meaningful because we could never know if Johann Strauss junior would have ever ended up as a composer if Franz wouldn't have loved music so much.

Behind Amon there are a group of friends who are freelance spacialists. In addition to that we have some guys who are just looking for exciting and challenging projects in addition to their day job. The leader of amon is Veiko Strauss.

Veiko started out as a Student Brand Manager for Red Bull. Thanks to being curious and having some luck, he ended up working for IT Law MA programme in University of Tartu while finishing his own law degree. While working in the university he met with Tõnu Runnel who hired him right from the school to become Sales and Marketing manager for voog.com.

Most of our projects are more or less connected to Voog because Veiko has learned most of his lessons, gained his marketing experience and built his network during the four years he spent in Voog.
